The Michael and Leah McMann Family Foundation is excited to announce their Hawaii Junior Bowling Community Excellence Scholarship!
This scholarship will award a one-time scholarship in the amount of at least $1,000 to be used towards educational requirements/fees for secondary schooling at a 2- or 4-year accredited college/university or vocational training after graduation from a high school in Hawaii.

ELIGIBILITY
Bowler who participates in the Oahu Junior Bowlers Tour
Graduating high school student who will enroll in a two- or four-year college, university, or vocational school within 6 months of high school graduation

Demonstrate good sportsmanship on and off the lanes, including respect for teammates, opponents, and officials with no history of disciplinary action
Demonstrate qualities such as honesty, integrity, and kindness, serving as a positive influence for peers

250-500 word Essay answering the following prompt: How have you demonstrated good sportsmanship and citizenship in your community? How will the scholarship help you achieve your educational goals?
Character Reference Letter from a community leader (e.g. coach, teacher, advisor, counselor, faith/worship leader, etc.) highlighting your character and qualities of good sportsmanship
